History on how it all started ...
Our History started in Northside, Houston in the 80s with a female neon fabricator named Elvia Medina. She worked for NEON ELECTRIC and other companies to raise her family knowing what she knew in neon and facing many obstacles as a women in this field.
Years later, in the 90s she sparked an influence to her son LuisErik Velazquez to become a neon glass bender. He worked for some of the top companies since the age of 14 and has dedicated his entire youth and adult life working in the sign industry trade for his family.
Lastly in 2001, Elvia, Luis, and the sign industry inspired another strong force - Brenda Velazquez. Her willingness to overcome many obstacles in Northside Houston, their growing family, and the difficult barriers in the sign industry's economics during that time allowed them to be a power team and stay Houston Strong with learning from some of the oldest electrical sign masters in Texas.
Together they became Founders of Future Sign Co and quickly grew the business to what it is now. Over the years their combined resilient knowledge, hard work ethics, passion for education, and dedication to the sign industry has allowed them to grow and accommodate Houston and surrounding cities for years. Luis and Brenda both have lead, taught, & inspired a new generation of sign industry professionals to serve the great state of Texas for many years and continue to strive to bring up more individuals to lead.
